Thank You for the Success of our Launch Party!

A huge, honey dripping THANK YOU to all those that turned up to our official SOAR ON RAW launch party on Saturday, September 28th.
We had almost 100 people, double the numbers we were expecting!

You can imagine the surprise and scramble for more chairs by the organisers. We kept it short and very sweet, with the Ultimate Madame of Ceremonies, Mrs Maria Argyrou-Louca opening the show like no other.

Following this, our guest speaker, the former commissioner for the environment, Mr Charalambos Theopemptou, gave a speech that was both thought-provoking and humorous as he spoke about climate change and GMO corn to growing up with mythological tomes and hesitant references to lopped phalluses as mentioned in Soar On Raw!

I then gave a talk on Raw Food, clearing up a few misconceptions people new to raw food may have and finished with my power point presentation showing 30 recipes, from the book’s 100, with their divine counterpart. The show was run with aplomb due to the behind the scenes work of the many divine beings, namely the American Academy Larnaca Goddesses who sprayed guests with rose water, gave them bookmarks with recipes plus a deity for the raffle with prizes including a free book and sublime raw chocolates. We also had gorgeous goddesses selling books as well as serving guests from the Soar on Raw buffet with Aphrodite’s Sexy Tidings, Pachamama’s Pure Pizza, Hera’s Wedding Drink and bowls of voluptuous grapes.

Special mention and appreciation also goes out to the staff of our venue, especially Louisa, at the House of Arts and Literature which provided the colourful backdrop to the launch in Larnaca.

I had a beautiful time, was touched by all the support and wish I could have carried on a 3 day feast with you all – which I may well do sometime in the future so stay attuned ;)
